Dr. Richard Scheuerman and brother Don Scheuerman, co-founders of Palouse Heritage, were invited to present at a Palouse landscapes class at Washington State University in October of 2023. Their talk covered a range of topics, including background on the Palouse Heritage mission, the history of grain agriculture in the Inland Northwest, and growing challenges in our modern food system.

 

Washington Humanities Lecture Series: Agrarian Art

Palouse Heritage's Richard Scheuerman delivered a presentation for the Washington Humanities Lecture Series on the topic of "Agrarian Art and the Purpose of Existence." His co-presenters were long-time friends John Clement and Alex McGregor. The event was held in October of 2023 at the Franklin County Historical Museum in Pasco, WA.
